Learn the fundamentals of using a sewing machine while making a simple throw pillow. No sewing experience is necessary. Sewing machines available or bring your own, start on the right foot. We have many class sessions running for this popular class, to fit your schedule. Be sure to sign up soon, because they fill fast.
This class teaches the basics of understanding how to purchase a pattern for your body size, how to shorten or lengthen a pattern, read and understand pattern instructions and how to construct the garment. The pattern is a simple skirt and top and all students use the same pattern in class. Supplies are to be purchased at the time of the first class.
Choose a pattern of your choice with approval from the instructor and learn how to insert a zipper, darts, set in sleeves, collars and waistbands. Limit your project to a fitted skirt, a simple dress or an unlined jacket.
Prerequisite for this class is Basic Sewing.
Using your embroidery machine, make this unbelievable "Leather-Look" embossed journal cover. Kit included.
Learn how to machine sew various sampler blocks, including “log cabin,” “double four
patch,” blocks using half square triangles, and star or pinwheel blocks. Learn how to square up for final quilt construction and set with borders and “corner stones”. Class includes precut kits for the blocks.
Fabric of your choice will be purchased separately to complete the quilt top setting.

Free Motion Quilting-get started with some simple exercises for doing free motion quilting on your domestic sewing machine. If your sewing machine can lower its feed dogs then you can do free motion work on it.
Each month we will be covering a unique skill in the Premier Plus and Premier Plus 2 Software Suite.
This is a fun class in basket-making. You will learn how to make your own strong basket from start to finish. This can be a wonderful gift, or a beautiful home decor piece! Kit is Included.
This is a 10 month program - meeting once a month. you can do it as a sit and sew bringing all your supplies and your embroidery machine , or as a lecture demo - taking the month’s instructions and design files home each month.

Sewing class supplies are not included in the course fee and must be purchased before the class begins. A list of supplies may be obtained at time of registration.
All classes begin on time and you are strongly encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to class starting time.
Because of a commitment to our teachers, a refund is only available if you cancel at least 2 weeks prior to class start. All “no-shows” forfeit class deposits and fees. Deposits are non-transferable.
We reserve the right to cancel any class that has not filled. To prevent course cancellations, you are advised to register as early as possible. In the event a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, you will be contacted and given a choice of full refund or the substitution of another class.
