rotary cut and piece the top of a quilt. Then you will go on to learn how to sandwich the quilt, quilt and bind it.

with absolutely no additional sewing. This is a unique technique with amazing results.
Quilting
Techniques III - October 18- 5:30 - 9:30 Fee $40.00 + supply list. Join Rose for another "McTavishing"
class. This time you will be learning the techniques of Paisleys, cyclone, Motorcycle Flames and Freehand Victorian
Feathers. These techniques are innovative and quite enjoyable to do.
Basic Machine - October 25 - 6:00 - 8:30 - Fee $ 30.00 + supply list.
If you have no experience with a sewing machine, take this class now, as it is a prerequisite for all other sewing
classes. Learn the fundamentals of using a sewing machine, with Rose, while making an envelope back throw pillow.
You will also learn how to use a rotary cutter, mat and quilting rulers. Sewing machines are available to use in class
if you do not own one.

Beginning Quilting Class - November

You will be learning how to bind your quilt and take it home as a completed project.
Garment Class Orientation - November 10- 10:30 - 1:30 - Fee - $30.00
Maryellen and Nancy will be doing a demo lesson on how to interpret, cut and lay
out a pattern, pick appropriate material and learn how to measure correctly to fit for size. They will also be discussing
threads and notions.
