Sewing Machine I: Learn the fundamentals of using a sewing machine while making a simple throw pillow! No Sewing experience is necessary. Sewing machines available or bring your own! Start off on the right foot!  June 3, OR  July 1, OR August 5, 6:00 8:30pm

Basic Sewing - Teens Welcomed: Sew an easy skirt and top while learning the fundamentals of fitting, pattern Lay-out, as well as basic construction techniques. This class will start you in the correct direction for future classes. (Homework may be required to complete projects. Knowledge of machine operation is suggested.)

Creative Vision Class

  New owners of the Pfaff Creative Vision may sign up for these introductory classes.  Two hour classes will cover the basics of the machine menus and functions.  Machine and Embroidery Unit with hoops, stabilizer and scrap fabric and threads required.  Sign up in advance is required as space is limited and the class is in high demand.

4D DAYTIME - 4D EMBROIDERY EXTRA SOFTWARE

Class 1 - Come and learn the basics of getting around your PC and 4D

file assistant.  If you are having trouble getting your designs to your

machine this is the class for you.  An introduction to the

  4D EMROIIDERY  will also be touched upon - it's simply amazing

  what you can do with this wonderful software package.  Learn how to organize your files on your computer and understand downloading principles.

Class 2 - Customizing Designs in 4D EMBROIDERY EXTRA - We will learn how to combine designs, add lettering and resize to expand your already owned embroidery library into more creative designs.

Class 3 - Fonts -  What are they and how do I create my own?  This is the topic of this class.  We will explore creating Fonts for monogramming and for design creation, understand gap and font manipulation.

Class 4 -

Basic Editing -  Using the editing feature in the EDT TAB  you can achieve amazing results for manipulating your already owned designs.  We will further explore the Encore and the Endless Tools.  Simple and Amazing! Materials and Supplies:  You will need the 4D EMBROIDERY EXTRA Creative Software - and dongle on a lap top computer with an optical mouse and mouse pad. (If you don't own a lap topyou can still  join the class for great demo's, notes and insight.)Detailed handouts and a CD of designs included in class fee.

 JELLY ROLL LILY QUILT -

JUNE 16TH, 30TH &
 JULY 14TH  6:00PM-8:30PM

A jelly roll, is a collection of coordinated fabric prints cut into 2 ½" strips.  These strips are then rolled up together and tied in a neat bundle - pretty enough to wet your appetite to create this beautiful quilt.  The strips are sewn together and then sliced and resewn to configure your quilt blocks. Some applique by machine techniques  will be covered as well.
