How Exciting is this, We were asked to be a technical help at the Martha
Stewart's show on Tuesday Dec 16. Emeril the famous chef was there demonstrating a Special holiday roast. The studio was just
amazing, The backdrop was Manhattan, buildings looked so real.There was 3 separate area's, one for cooking full kitchen staffed
to show you every step of the recipe's and decorated to perfection. Her staff were so helpful and friendly, Martha was so
very warm and welcoming, people could ask her questions and she gave them great advice , she was asked where she had her hair
done, and who colored it, she even gave them the address. So if you can get tickets to see the show its well worth the trip,
at the end she gave out a bag of goodies to every person who attended. I will add photo's shortly. What a Great Experience.

have to tell you about some of our customers, Our staff loves to sew and they even come in on their days off to visit each
other, and sew in the store. Lots of lovely people stop by to chat and share idea's.
I can't thank our customers enough
for all their advice and sharing Quilting secrets with us. Our staff enjoys helping someone with a glitch, or a question about
sewing as well. We just never want to go home and clean and cook; we just have so much fun and laughs at the store.

We want to Thank The Empire Quilt Guildfor inviting us to their
show, it was a wondeful show! We met many of our customer family and friends there.
They had great guest speakers, and
the quilts and classes they had were just grand. What a lovely warm and welcoming guild,they offer wonderful classes and trips,
this is a guild Sewtime would highly recommend to you to join.

On a very sad note the loss of our dear friends and customer family Isabella was suddenly taken away,
she was a very creative embroider and very good friends with our staff, she will be missed.

We also lost Sara Lewis, from Rego Park, Sara watched my children grow up in our sewing shop. A very
talented sewer and very dear friend, she lost her battle with breast cancer, we must continue to fight this dreaded disease.
We do miss them so much.

Sewing Centers.

will get you excited and show you so many things that you never knew your machine could do.
We are combining our
Classes with Stress Relieving Fun, We call it Ladies night, sewing a project and having music and retro projects with food
and lots of laughs. Check Out Classes.
MaryEllen, our Fabric manager, is so creative, and she
picks out he greatest fabric. We have a 50% off red dot sale. Why, cause we have so much new Fabric coming in and just
need the space. More shelves will be going up shortly.
We also have day classes and Block of the month taught by our very talented Kathy.
We have New Teachers at Lake Grove that are just incredible; Special
Classes and lots of samples to see.
You must visit the store and see what we are talking about; you don't want
to miss out.
We also do our
UFO classes on Tues and Thurs. So the Question would be asked: What is a UFO Class? You can bring anything in to work on;
maybe something unfinished, or something special you wanted to learn and can't find that specialized class for.
At
Sewtime we have some of the most talented teachers in the Industry, and they make it so easy to learn, and they also make
sure you complete your project. Our teachers give 100 % to their students, We are very proud of them.
Our Sad News is the loss of Karen Hefferman, She was such a special
person, to all the people she met.
Karen always put her hand out to help everyone who walked into our store. We
all will Miss her dearly.
