Soffet Quilt – June

Register Online

Creative Raw Edge Free Motion class. I have been making these Soffet quilts for years and selling them, some people use them for a valance, or hang vertical, or even put on a table, I have them in my house above doorways, closets and hallways. It is a mix between Hawaiian, making snowflakes, and of course raw edge appliqué. Everyone is going to let themselves go in this class, it will be a lot of fun; you will be designing (5) 12" blocks, there will be no templates or marking fabric, this is what I do best, you will have a good time, I promise. Kits available.

Artful Eye Quilt – July

Register Online

Class focuses on color and visual texture with a purpose. You will create a design using leftover fabric scraps from projects, This class is a collage that’s stitch together into a composition on Pellon which keeps it stiff. My work gets framed. This class is finding out your focus and creating a fabric picture of that focus idea. Color is really important in this class, and you will find that every piece of fabric is viewed & judged by standing back and squinting, or using binoculars backwards to see what the design really looks like visually. We share fabric in this class.
